Saturday evening starts off with building clouds, slowly becoming mostly cloudy as we start your Saturday night. A system in the southern U.S. will then track northward tonight, keeping cloudy skies around and then bringing in rain showers as we get into Sunday morning,

Clouds will thicken on Sunday. An approaching front may cause a few showers by late in the day, mostly well north and northwest of Richmond during the daylight hours. Rain chances will go up in the metro area Sunday evening and Sunday night.
