Brisbane Broncos footballer Ezra Mam has been charged after he allegedly returned a positive result for a drug test following a car crash in Brisbane’s west.Mam, 21, was driving a Ford Ranger when it and an Uber carrying three people collided in Bardon on October 18.

Brisbane Broncos star Ezra Mam has been charged over a head-on car crash last month. Police allege Mam failed a roadside drug test at the site of the accident in the Brisbane suburb of Bardon, and a further drug test in hospital. Mam was charged with one count of drive while relevant drug is present in blood, and driving without a licence.

Ezra Mam has reportedly been issued a notice to appear in court with police to allege the Broncos star failed a secondary drug test following a car accident in Brisbane last month. Broncos star Ezra Mam has been charged after he crashed his Ford Ranger utility into an Uber in Brisbane on October 18. Mam allegedly returned a positive result for a roadside drug test at the time, and he was detained for further blood testing which was conducted independently at a hospital.

The Broncos five-eighth, 21, has been ordered to front Brisbane Magistrates Court on December 16 to answer three charges stemming from a traffic accident he had last month.
