Apple has identified a very small percentage of iPhone 14 Plus devices that fail to display a preview when using the rear camera. If yours qualifies, Apple will fix your iPhone's camera for free.

If your iPhone 14 Plus is affected — and you can enter your serial number on the program page to see if yours is — Apple says it or an Authorized Service Provider will service

Anyone eligible for a free repair should book an appointment with a nearby Apple store or contact Apples support department to arrange mail-in service via one of the companys repair centers. Service technicians will examine your iPhone for any damage that might impair your ability to complete the repair, which is normal procedure.

Apple could upgrade the primary camera on the iPhone 18 with a variable aperture. The iOS smartphone is expected to launch in 2026.

Next year's iPhone 17 series is supposed to bring some interesting changes to the flagship phones from Apple, but maybe you'll want to wait until 2026 and the iPhone 18, which is expected to feature a massively upgraded primary camera.
