On Friday, Michigan was included in the 'Top 10' for one of the top players in the 2026 recruiting class: five-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban cornerback Elbert Hill. In addition to the Wolverines, Hill has narrowed his list of schools down to Ohio State, Tennessee, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC, Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State and UCLA.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s top target at cornerback in the 2026 class has listed his top 10 schools in his recruitment. Ohio State, Tennessee, Oregon, Michigan, Texas A&M, USC, Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State and UCLA are all in the mix for the talented cornerback from Archbishop Hoban in Akron.

While it is still extremely early in the 2026 recruiting cycle, Notre Dame football is off to a great start to its class. Already in the fold are quarterback Noah Grubbs, who will be in South Bend this weekend,

Ohio State’s season has started exactly how they would like it to and need it to with a 3-0 start. The Buckeyes have not been tested yet and will open up Big Ten play on Saturday against Michigan State.
