More than two dozen Rhesus macaques monkeys that escaped from a South Carolina lab have been returned as of Sunday night.

Police say residents of Yemassee, South Carolina, should keep their doors and windows locked until the primates are found.

Traps have been set up and thermal imaging cameras are being used in an effort to locate the fugitive monkeys, police said.
