对于单眼LSCD患者，应首先考虑自体移植手术，因为这种移植通常能产生更好的长期移植物存活率。对于双眼LSCD患者，则无法获得自体眼部组织，因此可以考虑的手术包括捐献角膜缘干细胞移植、同种异体培养角膜上皮细胞移植以及自体培养口腔黏膜上皮细胞片移植。
