A New Hampshire woman suffered third-degree burns after hiking off-trail in Yellowstone National Park, according to park officials. The 60-year-old hiker, her husband, and their dog ventured near the Mallard Lake Trailhead close to Old Faithful on Monday afternoon when the woman accidentally broke through a fragile crust and fell into scalding water in a thermal area near the famed geyser.
