Mumbai police are investigating a death threat made against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. A lawyer from Chhattisgarh was summoned after his stolen phone was allegedly used to make the threat. The lawyer had previously protested against Khan's 1994 film 'Anjaam'.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has received a death threat, according to Bandra Police, in Maharashtra's Mumbai. The threat was received from a number registered in the name of a man named Faizan from Chhattisgarh's Raipur. Shah Rukh Khan's team has registered a complaint with the Bandra Police.

Recently, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was threatened by a man who called at the landline number of Bandra Police Station at 1:20 PM on 5 November, demanding ransom of Rs. 50 lakh. When Mumbai Police traced the call, they found that the number had been registered in the name of Faizan Khan from Raipur.

When the person, under whom it was registered was contacted, the owner claimed he lost his mobile phone on 2 November 2024, adding, he had made a police complaint at a local police station in Raipur on that day itself.

Shah Rukh Khan has now received death threats, just after Salman Khan received a fresh threat recently. On Thursday, Mumbai Police received a threatening call from Chhattisgarh, warning of harm to Shah Rukh and demanding Rs 50 lakh (Tk 70 lakh).
