Hey, I'm a university student undertaking an assessment in regards to the Powerhouse. For personal reasons im unable to go and see it myself unfortunately but if you don't mind I would really appreciate you answering a couple simple questions I have: 1. Inside, is each level divided into a certain art? Say for examply one level contains a range of paintings and the next is for performing arts and the next is for music or anything similar? 2. Did you find it would be difficult for local and unknown artists to be represented inside the powerhouse and show off their own art? 3. Do you believe the Powerhouse is taking advantage of the resources and range of creative talent? PS. As mentioned, I am asking in regards to a QUT Uni assessment so ANY feedback goes a long way. Hi, Your questions would be best responded to by officials of the Powerhouse, so you should contact them direct as they are very helpful. From my observations, the calendar is drawn up well in advance and is diverse in natutre, showcasing both local and other artists. Exhibitions flow between floors and are.not restricted to one floor. There are several venues, eg small theatre, large theatre, open comedy stage and exhibition galleries, and artworks are on all three levels and down the stairwell too. This means visitors will see the photographs or paintings as they move towards the performances, giving artists greater visibility. There are also related arts around the powerhouse, such as trainee circus lessons, and to my limited knowledge, yes, they seem to take advantage of local talent resources and creativity.

Where is there free parking
答:
Parking is on site but very limited. You are better off parking near New Farm Park and get early to enjoy the pleasant walk
