I started with the drawing Terry Downs did for the body and used that to develop the rest, with the help of some PDF blueprints. All of the PLANS show a jpeg image of the PDF file. 网页2009年10月31日 · Rick's have finished rosewood fingerboards by default. I've never seen one with an unfinished rw board, although I know they exist. The early ones from the late 50's like John Lennon's original 325 had unfinished fretboards. When Ric re-issued that model they too left the finish off of the fretboard to be period correct.

I never saw the point of needing a lubricant to make my hands slip up and down the neck/strings faster. I have a friend that puts it on the back of the neck itself.
